Less than a decade before signing off on construction of a new village municipal building, the Village of Vicksburg, Michigan was on the brink of state takeover. Mismanagement had left village finances in shambles.

Now, under new management for several years, locals are celebrating the unveiling of the new village hall – paid for completely in cash.

In this Vicksburg Visit, hear officials talk about the new building – and their commitment to saving $2.7 million in cash to pay for it.
