(Community Matters 71) Kowalske Reflects on Megasite Fight, Future Options as Appeal Goes Forward

Outspoken opponent of development at the Marshall Megasite, Glenn Kowalske, returns to Community Matters for a wide-ranging discussion about the Committee for Marshall-Not the Megasite’s legal fight and potential future plans.

The group moved forward earlier in February 2024 with an appeal to a judge’s decision against the Committee in its effort to target an aspect of the Marshall Megasite zoning – and its drive for a referendum on Ford’s BlueOval Battery Park. Meanwhile, Ford’s construction at the site continues.

Kowalske suggests the group is now looking at potential opportunities to run their vetted candidates for local office to bring greater transparency in the future to projects like the Megasite.
