(Community Matters 70) More Roadwork, A Water Line Project and New Township Hall (Maybe) in Emmett Township

Courtesy Emmett Township, Michigan

They say location is important sometimes. In Emmett Township, smack between Battle Creek and the expected Ford BlueOval Battery Park Michigan in Marshall, the location is the perfect spot for a new water line project. Why?

Well, Battle Creek will supply water to the Ford plant – and Emmett Township will be the pass-through for that water. Emmett Township Supervisor Deb Belles tells Community Matters how that whole situation means free water upgrades there – a project on which Emmett was expecting to spend millions.

She also updates listeners on 2024 roadwork and a potential interest in remodeling the Emmett Township hall.
